Safer Gambling
Keep play a paid hobby, not a way to earn money.
Healthy Habits
- Pick a spending ceiling for the evening first.
- Once it is used up, log out — trying to win it back rarely works.
- Look at the clock now and then, and leave the games alone on a bad day.
Pausing Your Account
Live chat is open 24/7: ask for a limit, a cooling-off break or self-exclusion.
Signals to Watch
- Sessions keep stretching past the time you set.
- You use borrowed money or keep your play a secret.
- Bills, rest or relationships start to slip.
Help in Australia
Gambling Help Online runs a national counselling service at no cost, any time — call 1800 858 858 or use its web chat. Through BetStop you can register to be excluded from every licensed Australian wagering provider.
Minors
Gambling here is strictly for adults. If we find an account opened by someone under 18, we shut it.
